Schools are busy, lively places. With an absolutely non-negotiable responsibility to provide for the education and safeguarding of children, it is essential that unplanned staff absences can be dealt with rapidly. The solution when teaching staff are suddenly off sick or otherwise unavailable, is to deploy supply staff, either from your own internal capacity or from an agency.
But what about non-teaching staff? There is many a headteacher who will say that the caretaker is one of the most important people on site – if they don’t start the day then the school doesn’t open! So when you find yourself a short of a key member of your admin, reception or premises team, we may be able to help. For example:
- Sickness cover
- Maternity cover
- Annual leave
- Extra hands needed for an open day or event
All our staff are subject to the full set of safeguarding checks including an enhanced DBS and are cleared to work in the UK. In addition, they are friendly, professional, and experienced at working in schools.
Yes please! What do I do next?
If you are an existing client, provision for relief staffing is already made in our contract with you. Just ask your venue manager. Often they will be able to release an existing member of the venue team for you, so you can deploy someone who you already know, rate and trust.
For all other schools, just contact us directly and we’ll be happy to help.
