Community Sports Center
A few week’s ago I was reading an interesting article from Sports England. This article was regarding a brand new sports center built in Chesterfield. This sports center includes facilities such as a swimming pool, sports hall, studios and a gym.
I think it is fantastic that this community that was underachieving in their sporting activity levels have got these first class facilities. Especially for the children.
When I think closer to home, I realise how fortunate we are to have such great facilities at NTC, Thamesview, and St Johns. Apart from a gym and swimming pool. Our sports facilities are equivalent to that of a sports center. For example, we have a large sports hall with viewing gallery, studios, and outside sports areas.

Dance Studio at St Johns
Along with our non-sport spaces, like the classrooms and drama studio. We have an outstanding area for the community to hire.
