Welcome back to another week of our Schools Plus Interview series – Who do you think we are?
In this weekly series members of the Schools Plus team will be asked a series of questions about them and their job here at Schools Plus. We thought this would be a great way to find out more about our staff. There is a huge array of jobs and people within the company and every interview will be totally different. You will get an insight into their day to day life, their time before working here and a bit more about the team.
Who are you?
Krista
What is your role at Schools Plus?
Customer Operative at the Customer Contact Centre
As Schools Plus is all over the country where are you based?
Based in sunny (sometimes) Bournemouth with a small sea view!
How long have you worked for Schools Plus?
Since 12th February 2018 (roughly)
What did you do before you worked at Schools Plus?
Before I worked here, I was living in Chichester doing a Masters Degree in Fine Art at the Chichester uni
What is your favourite part about working for Schools Plus?
I’m enjoying the fact that every enquiry we get is so different, it can never be boring. And of course I’m enjoying working with the contact centre team! 🙂
Can you describe a typical working day for you?
I leave my house at 8:15 and cycle into work to get there around 8:45. We then start to mark off the emails we received through the night and answer all the emails we have from the night before or any emails that were left previous. We take phone calls through out the day with lots of different enquiries.
What do you think the future holds for Schools Plus?
I believe that Schools plus as a company will get bigger and bigger!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I try to do as much as possible on the weekends by seeing family and friends, going for walks and just general day outs to lots of places. I work on my art a lot most evenings (drawing/painting) trying to keep up with my creative side. Hobby wise, I do love to read and watch films when I can.
You are a crayon in the box what colour would you be and why?
I would be half turquoise and half yellow (purely because they’re both my favourite colours and couldn’t pick one!)
Finally, what is your favourite song and why?
Ummm this is a tricky one, I have so many favourites! Probably ‘Moon light mile’ by rolling stones because it reminds me of my family home as I used to play it so much… (although I love ‘sweater weather’ by The Neighbourhood too!)
Come back next week for another Schools Plus interview.
