SINGING IN LONDON<\/strong><\/p>\n

Singing in London hosts regular sessions on Monday evenings at The Archer Academy<\/em><\/p>\n

\n

Singing in London was conceived from a passion for singing and a desire to inspire the world to sing together.<\/p>\n

Singing in London first opened its doors in 2006 in Highgate, North London as a place for local parents to come together and sing. A charity show followed shortly afterwards to raise funds for The Whittington Hospital. The show was performed in the Grand Atrium of the new hospital wing receiving huge acclaim to a packed audience of patients and guests.<\/p>\n

Before long, there was an influx of newly inspired singers and as a result in 2011 Singing in London opened a second branch in Islington, Central London, to accommodate new members. A vibrant hub for singers emerged from an array of multi-national and cultural backgrounds who wowed audiences with spectacular musical renditions of Les Miserables and Mamma Mia for a performance period running over two years.<\/p>\n

The Highgate Branch of Singing in London continued to grow from strength to strength and in September 2015 moved to East Finchley. The first Open Evening was a tremendous success, with a flood of local residents who enjoyed and engaged in renditions of songs from the musical \u201cMack and Mabel\u201d with great vigour and enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

The Singing Club<\/p>\n

We\u00a0welcome\u00a0new members who would like to join Singing In London. Our repertoire ranges from songs from the shows to contemporary favourites. We are open to all levels of singing, without audition. We\u2019re all about having fun, singing together.<\/p>\n

Vocal Coaching Workshops<\/p>\n

We also provide Vocal Coaching Workshops for those who wish to develop their singing skill, either from scratch or from an intermediate level. These are short courses, independent of the Singing Club. The Workshops are essential courses provided by an expert team of vocal coaches.<\/p>\n

The Sing-Along for All<\/p>\n

Whether it’s singing along to some oldies with friends, or perhaps you want to meet new friends and potential partners, Sing-Along For All is the place you need to try out at least once! We aim to get everyone involved. The Sing-Along for Singles \u2013 the best place to start a friendship.<\/p>\n

IDIT GOLD (B. MUS.)
\nMUSICAL DIRECTOR & FOUNDER<\/p>\n

Idit was trained as a classical guitarist from a young age and performed in many concert halls. She took up choral conducting whilst studying at the Academy of Music when she realised she was passionate about the human voice.<\/p>\n

As a Choir Conductor, Idit has produced a number of singing groups. She continues to be involved in her Singing Club and to develop new singing ventures.<\/p>\n

KIERAN STALLARD
\nTHE SESSION LEADER<\/p>\n

Kieran has been the session leader for Singing in London since 2013; he enjoys working with the group and seeing members grow in ability week by week. Kieran trained as a Musical Director at LAMDA after his undergraduate degree in Music at Royal Holloway, University of London. Over the years since then, he has been a busy Musical Director working on countless professional shows. On a daily basis, he works with singers, from professionals to beginners, children to adults. He firmly believes singing should be a fun, freeing and enjoyable experience<\/p>\n
