The North London Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association offers support to all those in the area who are affected by MND. This includes people with MND, their carers, partners, family and friends, in fact anyone who has been touched in some way by the disease.
The Branch is run entirely by volunteers and provides a vital link between the Association and the local community. Our aim is to make a difference to people affected by MND by:
Visiting those living with MND, and providing support and information to you and your carers.
Fundraising to pay for equipment not provided elsewhere, and in order to contribute to things that provide quality of life such as transport or holiday costs.
Raising awareness of the disease through the local media, our newsletters and this website.
Playing an active part in networking and building relationships locally with health and social care professionals to influence and improve services for people with MND.
Holding regular Open Meetings where people with MND and their carers have an opportunity to meet other people living with the disease and share experiences.
The North London Branch covers all North London (N) postcodes and EN1-5.
For details of other MND Association Branches and Groups in other areas, please contact National Office at enquiries@mndassociation.org or telephone 01604 250505.
