Football season’s almost here
As most of us will be aware, the new football season’s is in some cases almost here and in many, has started already.
This year, for the third season in a row, the Bradwell Bombers aka Bradwell FC will be based at The Coop Academy for the winter season, utilising the sports hall and three floodlit astro turf pitches for their training sessions.
First off, I’d just like to welcome the teams back. We will see you almost every day during the winter months and I have to say, it’s always a pleasure. The lads and ladies are always friendly and full of energy as well as being extremely well behaved. I can honestly vouch for the behaviour and dedication of the footballers. The facilities are always tidy when they leave, which just shows the respect that the coaches instil in their young footballers. It’s really nice to see this sort of thing when, it seems like everywhere else, young people are at times getting a bit of a bad name.
Bradwell FC will start their training at The Academy on 21 September 2015 and the sessions will run until the end of the season, when the evenings start to get a bit lighter and the grass pitches start to dry a bit.
