It’s been an exciting couple of months down here in Bournemouth at the Schools Plus Customer Contact Centre! We’ve seriously upgraded our office equipment and most importantly we’ve grown all the teams based here, not only just with new staff joining us but also with some of us swapping over departments.
Let’s start with the shiny stuff – our contact centre operatives finally have a much-needed dual screen set up at each desk, making it so much easier for them to handle your booking requests! It was getting harder for them to fit everything they need on one screen (emails, maps, contracts and venue information just for starters!) so we’re glad to see they’re able to see all the information they need now.
Speaking of our telephone operatives, their team has recently been finalised. With Sophie Beresford as their team leader, Daiva, Paula and Sarah have become a brilliant team in a very short space of time. They all now directly report to Wayne Cryer, our Operations Director, which has been a productive change and has opened more channels of dialogue in the company.
We’re delighted to see this team fully committed to providing our customers with the best booking service possible. The team recently featured in a group interview blog post, which you can read here
Another team which has expanded at the Customer Contact Centre is the Marketing Team! Having Simon Kidby, Marketing & Sales Director, based at the office has allowed the Marketing Team to grow quickly throughout the years with Alice Young, Marketing Manager equally key in the team’s development.
The Marketing Team as it stands is still led by Simon and Alice, with Conor and Georgina in assistant roles and new team member Krista joining the team after previously working as a Schools Plus contact centre operative. We’re thrilled Krista has joined us and we’re so excited to make full use of our bigger team heading into next year.
The Sales Team, which works directly hand in hand with us in Marketing, has also seen some changes. Simon again leads this team with Krista also involved and Liz Heath becoming Business Development Manager. The team are focused on centralising sales and driving more business into our schools whilst managing partner relations across all levels of our Schools Plus partnerships.
Another change recently was when Donna was formally inducted into the finance team. This gives her the unique and important responsibility of being the solo representative of the finance team at Head Office!
As you can tell, things have come along way for the Customer Contact Centre which initially opened as a two-person office in 2017. We’re excited to see what the future holds and who knows, maybe we’ll need an even bigger office soon… Watch this space!
