Wow what a weekend we have had here at Dinnington, We have had the fantastic England Rounders team here for an activity weekend.
Megan and Georgia who are coaches for Rounders England wanted to recreate a training and activity weekend that they attended many years ago when they were training to play. Dana who is presently a Physical Education teacher here at Dinnington High school was the coach who organised this event for Megan and Georgia all those years ago and also trained Megan to the world class player and coach she is now.
The girls booked out most our facilities for the whole weekend including the spacious sports hall, School playing field, the bright, clean new Gym and the Astro’s. Glorious weather meant that the girls did most of their coaching outside in the fresh air.
Speaking with Megan who trained here originally said that the weekend had brought back many fond memories for her and she was delighted with the facilities we had provided for their activity weekend.
