Well i am in a month in to my new role as Venue Manager here at Dinnington High School and what a whirlwind it has been. Trying to get my head round this massive complex has been challenging but with help from all the Caretakers and the Premises team i think i finally have a handle on it.<\/p>\n

Bookings are starting to take shape and more and more are coming in. We have our resident local team Dinnington Town Fc whose U14’s – U16’s are playing on a Sunday up on our Community Football Field, with the latter winning 4-1 last weekend to reach the next round of the County Cup. Also they have 9 age groups all booked in on our Astro Turf Pitches for winter training which we have added some nets to the goals which make it a fantastic all weather pitch. Some younger teams have chosen to use the Sports Hall for there winter training as it comes with Fusball nets which i am told is all the rage these days (showing my age).<\/p>\n

The Old Gym also plays host to Kiveton Park Fitness Club on a Tuesday and Thursday night while also utilising the New Gym as they have extra bookings from people having over indulged from a great summer of BBQ’s<\/p>\n

All in All although it’s been extremely bus it has been something i always crave wich is fun and long may it continue<\/p>\n
