We are looking for a Relief Premises Supervisor for our sites across London, within the M25.

We are looking for a Relief Premises Supervisor for schools within the M25 to provide an excellent standard of service.
Making sure the venue is opened correctly in the morning, and locked up at the end of the school day.
Ensuring on a constant basis that the venue is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.
Ensuring that all parcels are dealt with and signed for.
Manual handling, deliveries and furniture moving.
Some cleaning duties may be required.
Maintenance duties such as painting, gardening, etc.
Dealing with any other maintenance issues that arise, directly where appropriate or by engaging with contractors.
Ensuring that all operational procedures are followed e.g. Lock-up and Fire.
Being responsible for the security of the facilities when locking up.
As a key-holder, assuming responsibility for safekeeping of the keys/passes and report immediately any loss, or compromise of security.
Dealing with all contractors.
Helping out on gate duty at the arrival of pupils and the departure of pupils.
Public Point of Contact.
Meeting and greeting all staff members in a professional and friendly manner.
Building rapport with and instil confidence in clients, showing tact and diplomacy where necessary.
Taking responsibility for all queries in a professional, prompt manner to ensure that the school is consistently happy with our level of service.
Conducting yourself accordingly around the children and staff at all times.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but full training will be given. You should have good standards of both in written and spoken English and be IT competent, with basic IT and working with mobile and online functions.
You will have discretion about who you are allowing into a school, which is a highly protected environment and you must therefore be honest and able to take responsibility for your mistakes
You are making judgements about which jobs to handle yourself and which you have to refer to others for reasons of safety. To carry out these functions well, you must be completely trustworthy and have the full confidence of your manager and the school staff.
You will take ownership of issues arising and ensure that they are dealt with rapidly and well.
You are completely reliable: you are always at work on time. You willingly take responsibility for issues and problems and work in accordance with our key operational procedures e.g. locking up procedures and fire procedures.
You must be 100% punctual and reliable and seek to go the extra mile for other people. You are available to work the agreed hours and days (unless prior arrangements have agreed between you and your manager)
You should make an effort to get to know the school staff.
You will have the ability to think on your feet and be confident in your decision making skills. You are professional and friendly with customer contact in person and on the phone.
Hours: This is for a 40 hours a week contract, with excellent opportunites for more hours, working hours between 6.00am and 6.00pm.
Pay: The pay is £9.50 an hour
Location: Within the M25
Driving is a bonus but not essential. Training will be given.
