We’re pleased to announce that Séan Garnier and London United are opening a weekly Futsal Academy at Kensington Aldridge Academy commencing on the 28th of February between 11am – 2pm.
Séan is widely acclaimed as one of the world’s most skill-full footballers, having been a top professional footballer, as well as 2 time World Champion Free-styler, Global Panna King and a professional Futsaller. London United have been competing in the top tier of Futsal in England for the last 10years and are very happy that he will be captaining the side next season, on to Futsal. . . .
Messi, Neymar, Ronaldo, Pele all attribute their skills to Futsal as this is the game they loved growing up, this is the game that taught them technical and improvisational ability. Futsal is unique as players touch the ball 6 times more than on 11 a-side and they are always receiving or playing out under pressure from the opposition. You’ll find some links at the bottom of this blog from great players talking about Futsal.
Now, how’s this for exciting. Not only will Séan be popping in to the academy, but he’s also, set out the training regime which will of course include FREESTYLE and PANNA. Meaning not only will those attending become better footballers, but they’ll look good doing it. In case you don’t know what Panna is, it’s the art of going round a player in a tight area, or more importantly, it’s the art of putting the ball through their legs, nutmegging them and running round them.
In March, we will be entering each of our age groups into a national competition, sponsored by The FA. Players of all abilities will be welcomed to the sessions, and, subject to availability at Kensington Aldridge Academy, sessions will be beginning on Sunday’s in April at the same times.

12am – 1pm Under 12’s
1pm – 2pm Under 14’s
FIRST SESSION IS FREE
Sessions are £5 each if block booked, or £6.50 on the day.
London United are subsidising the sessions, other in-door Futsal academy’s are much more expensive, between £8-£12 per hour
