Who are you and what is your role at Schools Plus?
I’m Daiva Bumelyte, a Schools Plus Customer Contact Centre Operative.
How long have you been with Schools Plus?
I have been with Schools Plus for around a year and a half now!
Which three words would you pick to best describe Schools Plus?
Dedicated, Driven, Involved.
What is your proudest moment since working for Schools Plus?
I am quite proud of all the tough bookings I’ve processed in which I needed to make sure the location would work perfectly for the customer, whilst also ensuring that all their other requirements were met as well. It can be a challenge sometimes, but it’s definitely a proud moment once the bookings are finalised.
If you could switch your job with anyone else in the company whose job would you want?
I would swap jobs with any of our on-site Team Leaders, to get a glimpse of what life is like where the action happens.
What an interesting thing about you that we wouldn’t learn from your CV alone?
I have great Tetris skills!
How has Schools Plus helped you grow professionally?
I already had experience in customer service, but I have now gained more confidence in dealing with people both over telephone and via email. I also learned how to be quick on my feet when it comes to problem solving, which I believe is a handy skill in any profession.
What are you working toward in your free time?
I am trying to create more videos to build a nice-looking animation Instagram account.
What do you think the next year looks like for Schools Plus?
I believe over the next year Schools Plus will see immense growth, but also face the new challenges that come with it.
I think this year might also bring some business and operational re-organising and improvements to meet the needs of the expanding business. Overall, I’m sure this will be a exciting year!
Thank you to Daiva for sparing us a few minutes from of her day at the always busy Customer Contact Centre. We share her views that the next year will be a very exciting year for Schools Plus!
