We have all experienced bad train days but the last week makes you wonder where all the TFL money goes and why its so hard to run adequate trains for all of us to go on our daily journeys…
I myself have experience long delays and non existent trains in the last week and only to find out from the news headlines on Monday exactly why! Last Thursday all we were told was there was lack of trains? What happened to these trains overnight we ask?? Did someone steal them ??
But no as the news tells us ( ON MONDAY) its all about the wheels on the trains ! Well lets just get one thing clear they are not going round and round at this present time.
Apparently its all to do with the weather and leaves falling on the tracks which in turn damages the wheels but how it managed to damage so many trains overnight is really bizarre. So what are they doing about it? Well these trains are now being worked on 24 hours a day to fix the damage caused by leaves. I am sorry but in this day and age and with the British weather being as rubbish as it is should this not be dealt with so it does not happen int he first place?
Last year it happened and now look where we are again ( same boat or no trains so to speak)
So why not replace the trains if they are so old and creaky and can not deal with the fall of the Autumn leaves I mean come on the trees are not going to give in and stop producing leaves…. so maybe TFL need to sort out the trains once and for all!
The commute on London underground is bad enough so spend some of the money you take from us each year and turn it into better trains to help us poor folk get to work on time without all the stress we have endured this past week..
Happy Wednesday 🙂
