The Glastonbury 2017 line up has been revealed in one of the earliest billing announcements from the festival in years.
The XX, Katy Perry, Lorde, Solange and Stormzy are among the 88 extra acts who will join headliners Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran across the three days musical madness.
While the “Golden Oldie” act, who traditionally fills the Sunday 4pm slot on the Pyramid Stage, is yet to be officially announced, there are some hints on the poster. The poster includes Kris Kristofferson, who was long rumoured to be appearing at the festival, will be in attendance. The country singer, known for his songs Me And Bobby McGee and Sunday Mornin’ Comin’ Down, was a favourite, and could be stepping into the slot, which has previously been filled by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers.
The line-up also offers sets from other heritage greats: Chic will be returning to the festival after a triumphant set in 2013, The Jacksons, formally known as The Jackson 5, are on the bill and Barry Gibb, who was set to perform with Coldplay during their Sunday night headline slot last year but pulled out, is on the poster. – Telegraph
