We couldn’t think of a better way of celebrating the 10th Anniversary of our School Spotlight Blog by giving you a virtual tour of a very exciting Academy in our catalogue; Kensington Primary Academy (also known as KPA).
We’re thrilled we get to work with KPA as they have some truly unique facilities to offer their local West London Kensington community including an Underground Sports Hall and two dedicated Community Rooms. There are a wonderful mix of customers that frequently use these wonderful facilities at KPA including Worship groups, Fitness classes, Football clubs and more.
We’d like to start our tour off by introducing a facility we haven’t mentioned yet; the Assembly Hall. Unlike the Sports Hall, this Assembly Hall is above ground. The Hall is just under 150 sqm and can fit up to 100 people. An ideal venue for the previously mentioned Worship groups, we often find this Hall fills up very quickly.
The Assembly Hall is noticeably well-designed with natural sunlight filtering through all day long. There is large overhead space with a lightning rig included, so the space really feels like a top-class facility. A variety of activities and events would be perfect for the Assembly Hall including; drama and dance evenings, fitness classes, worship events and community gatherings.
Moving underground now, we have the Sports Hall. This Hall really exemplifies the impressive and creative use for limited space that some of our London Schools and Academies have had to come up with. A truly impressive Sporting Venue, standing at over 612 sqm that spans four Badminton courts in size.
You can play and practice a true mix of Sports in here. There are Sports lines and marking in the Hall for Badminton, Netball and Five-a-side Football. With Changing and Shower Facilities included, this is truly a great space to play and practice Sport in West London.
Finally, we have the two Community Rooms to guide you through. These two identical rooms can host up to 50 people each and are true bank canvases for bookings. They really can and have hosted anything including smaller Worship groups, tuition classes and language workshops. The rooms both come with tables, chairs and a projector screen included.
We hope you’ve enjoyed this look at Kensington Primary Academy with us. We truly do enjoy with working with a School that is as committed to providing the local community with premium venues and spaces to utilize as we are.
