Safeguarding at Schools Plus.
Every child on a Schools Plus site is protected by clear, current, statutory-grade safeguarding practice — and a culture that puts their welfare first.
Our approach
Six principles that govern every booking, on every site.
Children come first
The welfare and interests of children are paramount in everything we do on a school site.
Statutory compliance
Our practice reflects Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and the latest UK statutory guidance.
Trained, vetted staff
Safer-recruitment checks, DBS, and ongoing safeguarding training for every Schools Plus colleague.
Supervised activity
Clear rules about supervision, off-site activity, and avoiding compromising situations.
Confidentiality & GDPR
Concerns are handled sensitively, recorded properly and shared only with those who need to know.
Clear escalation
A defined route for reporting and whistleblowing — internally and to LADO, Ofsted, NSPCC or police where needed.
